Life In The French Quarter
A Novel

A home for the novel Life in the French Quarter
as well as a resource for all things French Quarter.

Ever wonder what it's like to
live and work in the French Quarter?

If the bricks and cobwebs could talk,
they'd have a lot of stories to tell, I'm sure.
Mine is just one . . . .

New Orleans was my home before I lived there, my home after I left. It is always in my heart.

For me, the French Quarter is New Orleans. When some people think of the French Quarter, they just think of the nightlife and everything pertaining to that; however, beyond the bars, beyond the night, in the midst of its architecture, its history, its cultural influences, the French Quarter is a unique place, unparalleled anywhere else in the world.

It may be one thing to the tourist who just stays for one wild night, but for the people who live there, it is something else. The French Quarter is not just Bourbon Street; it is one of the oldest residential community in the United States.

When my great great grandfather came to America in 1900, he settled in the French Quarter. There are some long-standing families who live there today. There are others who weren't born into it, but chose it as their home.

I have created this website not only as a place to sell my book Life in the French Quarter, but also as a resource for information about the French Quarter.

I have included a page on
French Quarter history, as well as pages with links of places to go in the French Quarter and people to see (Artists and Writers, Musicians,  etc.) in and around the Quarter.

Feel free to navigate around the buttons on the top of the page to take a virtual walk through the Quarter.

Please check back frequently, as I will be adding more information and possibly even more pages.

Stop by my site anytime you're in the mood for New Orleans. It's the next best thing to being there.
